Description

AMENDMENT NO. 2: The purpose of this amendment is to provide clarification based on questions raised. 1. On the question on shelving length. The over-all length will be slightly longer per shelving unit than the 96 inch dimension due to the thickness of the uprights. What we are needing is 96 inches of useable shelf dimension to accommodate the number of boxes per shelf. Typically, this pallet racking type shelving uses starter units with uprights on both ends and then "add-on" units that have uprights on one end. These add no's attach to the ends of each other. We have allowed for the creep in length in the floor plan layout. Also, color is of no concern. 2. The Government needs to have the uprights fabricated to the specified height due to the 9 foot ceilings and the 18 inch setback for the overhead sprinklers. The height is 7 feet 4 inches. All other specifications/plans will remain the same.
