- The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to issue a contract for Rental Services for specialized equipment, including delivery, FOB Destination, to BIA Road Project N20 - Gap, AZ and/or BIA Road Project N35 - Sweetwater, AZ. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RMN00100055 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NAICS Code: 532412, Small Business Size Standard: $7 Million. Rental Services are estimated to be from March 22, 2010 through September 30, 2010, for specialized equipment, on an as-needed basis. All equipment shall meet the following minimum specifications. All equipment shall comply with all safety requirements. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror, whose quote conforming to the requirements herein, will be most advantageous to the Government, and is fair and reasonable. DELIVERY: Delivery of each equipment will be on an as-needed basis to BIA Road Project N20 - Gap, AZ which is approximately 85 miles north of Flagstaff, AZ and/or to BIA Road Project N35 - Sweetwater, AZ which is approximately 145 miles northwest of Gallup, NM and approximately 80 miles west of Farmington, NM. INSPECTION: Inspection will be completed by Project Supervisor when delivered and prior to acceptance of each equipment.
