- This Request for Quote (RFQ), N00104-10-Q-Q369, is for commercial hardware support prepared in accordance with the procedures in FAR 13.5 (Test Program for Certain Commercial Items), as supplemented with additional information included in the notice. This announcement constitutes the only RFQ; said hardware maintenance is to be purchased for Fleet Numerical Meteorology & Oceanography Center (Fleet Numerical) located in Monterey, CA. NAVICP Mechanicsburg intends to procure F5 Big IP Switches for Firewall replacement; see attached spreadsheet for specifics. Delivery date is 30 days after receipt of order. Brand name equivalent is not acceptable. SUBSTITUTES WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. The NAICS associated with this purchase is 334210, Local area network (LAN) communications equipment (e.g., bridges, gateways, routers) manufacturing; this procurement is being considered for small business. To be considered for award, vendors must be AUTHORIZED F5 resellers/distributors. Vendors must quote ALL items to be considered for award. QUOTES MUST BE VALID FOR 30 DAYS. A firm fixed price purchase order(s) will be issued based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote. Offerors should provide "Remit To" address, if applicable. All responsible sources may submit a quotation for consideration. Quotes must be emailed to NAVICP Code 0271 at Amanda.goddard@navy.mil. All quotes are due by 9:00 AM Eastern, 253 March 2010. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition.
