- ***** NOTE: THE SUBJECT SOLICITATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED.******** NO SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED FOR THE BELOW REQUIREMENTS The Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) has a need for a Contractor to be On-Site at the PVAMC to provide Critical Care Life Support (CCLS) ambulance services transport of critical cardiac patients from the VAMC, located at 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA, to local medical care facilities. The Contractor shall furnish On-Site Advanced Life Support Ambulance Services with a Critical Care Registered Nurse and an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for the beneficiaries of the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. The Ambulance and Crew will be on-site from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. While on-site, in addition to CCLS runs, the Philadelphia VA Medical Center may opt to utilize this ambulance service for ALS and BLS transport between the Philadelphia VA Medical Center, the Community Living Center (CLC), and HUP. The NAICS code for these services is 621910 and the small business size standard is $7.0 million. This procurement will be competed on a Full and Open Competition Basis, and will be conducted using the commercial item procedures of FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted approximately on or about February 05, 2010. No hard copies of solicitations will be provided.
