Description: This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Procurement. The purpose of this notice is to make notice that the Forest Service complates releasing a solicitation for the construction of approximately 5,000 linear feet of 4-inch HDPE water main with valves, etc; to serve the existing USFS Osprey campground-residential cabins in Panhandle National Forests in ID. The constructions also consist of the installation of (a) stub-out water service to serve USFS Outlet Bay campground; (b) installation of combination air release/vacuum breaker valve vault; (c) flow meter vault; (d) connecting new water main owned by the Outlet Bay Water Assoc. (e) connecting new water main to the existing USFS Osprey Campground water system, (f) plus site restoration of all affected areas as applicable, last but not least work includes but not limited to(g) furnishing and installation of equipment, labor, materials and all related appurtenances in the general trade of works such as:: excavation, trenching. backfill, piping, equipment installation, survey, staking, any recording of data, and any calculations as necessary to contruct the project from the initial layout to final completion of work. General Information on site conditions regarding topography, subsurface information, groundwater elevations, existing construction on site facilities that were obtained by the Government will be available for inspection at the office of the Government upon request. However, such information are offered as supplementary information only and the Government assumes no responsiblity for its accuracy or completeness or for the contractor's own interpretation of such information. For Informational Purposes only: Government estimate for this project is between $250,000. thru $500,000.
