- 12 point justification PFAFF Conversion Kits UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries intends to negotiate a sole source requirement for the purchase of 4 standard pocket style kits for the PFAFF 3568 Pocket Machine. This product will be installed on existing machines located in our Textiles Factory located in Safford AZ. These items are maufactured only by Pfaff Industrial. Therefore, UNICOR intends to negotiate a sole source award to Pfaff Industrial, 2200 Norcross Parkway, Suite 280A, Norcross GA 30071. A solicitation will not be issued for this requirement. This award is determined and supported in accordance with the procedures of other than full and open competition, FAR 6.302-1 Only One responsible source and not other supplies or services willo satisfy agency requirements. An award for this requirement shall not be made later than Friday, March 12, 2010. Reference the attached Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition to get more details regarding the requirment. all interested offerors may submit an offer if in accordance with the specification outlined in the Justification with no deviations or other exceptions, and the offer will be considered.
