THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): QWC-SCI 8A JV, Contract W912DW-09-D-1004, IDIQ Contract for General Repair & Maintenance This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is an order under an existing contract that was awarded using non-competitive procedures. This award notice is for a Task Order issued under an existing 8(a) Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, based on a statue that exists that expressly authorizes or requires that the acquisition be made from a specific source; specifically, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-5(b)(4), Sole source awards under the 8(a) program. All projects that will be executed by this Task Order are funded under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. The projects will provide for the cleaning and painting of interior walls as well as the replacement of failing carpet in Building Numbers 12235, 12327, 12341, 12347 and 12835 located at Fort Lewis, Washington. The applicable NAICS Codes are 238320 and 238330. The Task Order was awarded on 24 March 2010 for a total award amount of $294,031.94.
