- This is a Best Value Solicitation to provide for quarterly and semi-annual preventive maintenance and repairs of the three (3) Government-owned industrial screw pumps at the FC440 Waste Water Treatment Plant, Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, Jacksonville, North Carolina. This will be a combination Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (FFP/IDIQ) contract. The contract will be for a base period with four, one-year option periods, which, cumulatively, will not exceed sixty (60) months. The proposed contract will procure all labor, supervision, materials, transportation, and other items necessary to provide preventive maintenance and repair services to the screw pumps. The successful contractor will be required to provide services that include emergency, urgent, and routine preventative maintenance work, recurring work, and indefinite quantity work. Types of work include, but are not limited to, preventive maintenance inspection, repair, and alignment services, and confined space work. All service work, preventative maintenance, and recurring work shall be firm-fixed price and subject to the Service Contract Act (41 U.S.C. 351). The approximate Solicitation Release Date is 08 April 2010. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the Adobe website. The official access point to the solicitation is via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) website at https://neco.navy.mil.
