- This Sources Sought / Market Survey is being issued to identify potential small, bondable, and experienced businesses such as: (1) Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB): (2) Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB); (3) 8(a) contractors, (4) HUBZone Small Businesses, (5) Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB), (6) and/or Small Disadvantaged Businesses (SDB) that are capable of meeting the construction need for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM), Washington, DC. The construction need is relative to Project # 640-424C titled, 600 Car Parking Garage' at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System, 3801 Miranda Drive, Palo Alto, CA 94304. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, supervision, supplies and tools necessary for the construction of a new four (4) story, 600-Car Parking Garage, approximately 210,000 GSF, including, site preparation, roadway improvements and landscaping. This project may include the installation of a photovoltaic solar array on the roof of the parking garage, pursued as a bid alternate. The estimated cost range for this project is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 236220 and the small business size standard is $33.5 Million. The award of a firm fixed-price contract is anticipated. Interested bondable small businesses having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements are invited to provide information to contribute to this sources sought / market survey. Responses must include the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact with phone number and e-mail address; (2) Business size determination and qualifying small business status; (3) Bonding capacity letter from bonding company; (4) List of multi-story parking garage projects that were completed similar in size, complexity, and scope; and (5) Identify the Sources Sought announcement number, the specific project title, and location in your subject line. Please note that this is not a request for proposal (RFP) and the government is only seeking information for market research/survey purposes.
