Description
Provide an operational diver lock-out submersible with the following demonstrated capabilities: (1) Capable of locking out at least six divers in a single lock-out cycle, (2) capable of sustained (2 hrs) submerged speeds of five knots or greater, (3) capable of transiting at least 10 nautical miles at five knots on a single battery charge. Provide for unlimited operations in the test tank, pier side or underway for an average of eight hours per day, 20 days per month as directed by the Government Operations Manager. Provide all engineering and maintenance support for the manned submersible in the field. Provide personnel to maintain and operate the manned submersible in the field. Allow supervision of the operation of the submersible or diver lock-out from the submersible by government personnel, if such personnel are authorized to embark at a future date. Support the ABS review and survey of the design and construction of the submersible with an objective to achieve classification as a submersible, to include but not limited to: Provide detailed engineering drawings and calculations for submissions to the American Bureau of Shipping, Building, and Classification of Vessels (ABS); Provide disassembly of submersible as needed to support ABS Surveyor inspections of components; Provide reassembly of the submersible as needed to support ABS classifications; Submergence Group, LLC will address and resolve ABS classification issues identified by ABS in consultation with Naval Special Warfare Command; The Lessor shall provide the Lessee all appropriate original equipment manufacturer (OEM) technical data, manuals and documents required to operate and maintain the submersible and components (i.e. revisions, factory bulletins and other updates) as required to support ABS; The Lessor shall provide all submersible sustainment parts including consumables, in support of the PWS; The Lessor shall provide technical support as required; The Lessor shall be responsible for all travel to and from Pearl City, HI.
