- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00189-10-Q-PE26. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-21 and DFARS Change Notice 20071207. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.acqnet.gov/far and http://www.acq.osd.mil/dpap/dfars/index.htm. The NAICS code is 333913. The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: Heat Cleaning Oven for Metal Burn Off Due to space constraint in the work area, the oven must be Guspro Model GO-729672 or equal and possess the following specifications: -Outside footprint of the oven must be 78" wide x 104" deep x 99" high-Inside working dimensions must be 72" wide x 96" deep x 72" high-Heavy duty cart with load rating of 12,000 pound capacity and able to roll in and out of oven, 72" wide x 96" long.-Chamber must have a programmable digital microprocessor-Over Temp Control water system to stop a run away burn-Vent stack or chimney must not be more than 1 inch from deviation of Guspro Model GO-729672 to fit within the footprint we currently have in the high bay Any offerors submitting a quote for a model other than Guspro Model GO-729672 need to submit specifications for technical review. Delivery is 14 weeks. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control. Quoters shall include a completed copy of 52.212-3 and its ALT I with quotes. All clauses shall be incorporated by reference in the order. METHOD OF PROPOSAL SUBMISSION: The NECO website has a "submit bid" button next to the solicitation number. DO NOT use the "submit bid" button on NECO to submit your proposal. All quotes must be send via fax or mail. All quotes shall include price(s), FOB DESTINATION, a point of contact, name and phone number, GSA contract number if applicable, business size, and payment terms. Quotes over 10 pages in total will not be accepted by facsimile.
