Description
RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): Applied Aquatic Management, Inc - W912EP-09-C-0005-P00011 This contract action was not awarded as a fixed price type because uncertainties involved in contract performance did not permit costs to be estimated with sufficient accuracy to use any type of fixed price contract. As such, a cost-reimbursement type action was awarded (FAR 16.301-2). Brazilian Pepper will be treated within the USACE right of way (ROW) along the eastern portion of Taylor Creek near 1204 SE 8th Avenue in Okeechobee Florida. Brazilian pepper trees will be treated using the basal bark and foliar application methods. Brazilian pepper and possibly other non-native plants will also be treated at the St. Lucie Recreation Area and associated structures. Application methods will include cut-stump, basal bark and foliar applications. The additional funding of $20,000K is based on current expenditures of approximately $5,700 per week.
