Description
TITLE: Suicide Prevention Skit Role Play The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Hood intends to award a sole source service to Vetwork Learning Solutions, 1008 Falls Road, Potomac, MD 20854, for the following: to provide suicide prevention Skit role play for the Army Substance Abuse Program, Fort Hood, TX. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, management, quality control, and any other supplies and services (not government furnished) necessary to develop and execute suicide prevention training, which includes a form of interactive role plays to support the Fort Hood Army Substance Abuse Program. The Contractor has developed an interactive, branching storyline script, in accordance with Vet-Works Virtual Experience Immersive Learning Simulations (VEILS) process patent # 5,813,863. The training and role plays shall be performed for Soldiers, Department of the Army civilians, Retirees and Family Members. The Contractor shall provide all requirements for performers, understudies and all other requirements to produce and perform the training and role plays. This procurement is for the period of 1 Apr 2010 -30 Sept 2010. This acquisition is authorized under the provision of Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996, Test Program for Commercial items as implemented by FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), using NAICS code 611699 with a small business size standard of $7,000,000.00. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability by responding within 5 days after the date of electronic publication of this synopsis. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
