Description
The South Carolina National Guard intends to issue on or about 9 April 2010 a Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation for services required for the construction of an Addition/Alteration to Eastover Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) located at McEntire Joint National Guard Base, Eastover, South Carolina. This procurement is 8(a) set aside. Size standard under NAICS 236220 is $33.5 million; Project Cost range according to FAR 36.204 is more than $10,000,000.00. Project consists of an approximately 75,000 square foot addition of a rotor wing aircraft hanger and associated shops, to the existing AASF. The building addition will be structural steel frame, membrane roof, metal siding and masonry exterior walls with concrete block partitions, finishes, HVAC system, plumbing rough in, fixtures and trim, lighting and electrical power, data wiring, fire suppression system, along with exterior grading, storm drainage system, land side and air side paving, and utilities extensions to tie into existing services. The Government intends to award a single contract as a result of this solicitation. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all offers at any time prior to award; to negotiate with any or all offerors; to award the contract to other than the offeror submitting the lowest total price; and to award to the offeror submitting the offer determined by the Government to be the most advantageous to the Government. The Government intends to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors, however, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contracting Officer later determines them to be necessary.
