Description
100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS The FAA is seeking qualified vendors who currently manufacture and provide logistics support for 300 and 500 Watt 20A/20A and 300 Watt 20A/6.6A isolation transformers. The isolation transformers will be used in the lighting field of the Dual Mode High Intensity Approach Lighting System with Sequenced Flashing Lights (ALSF-2/SSALR). The transformer must meet the requirements of Advisory Circular AC-150/5345-47b. Quantities required are as follows: 300 W, 20A/20A250500 W, 20A/20A 1500300 W 20A/6.5A1500 The Vendor must possess the capability to deliver transformers within 3 months of contract award at a minimum rate of 100 each per month. These requirements are not negotiable. Early delivery is acceptable. In order to make this determination the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: Capability statement and past performance with the FAA or other users of these transformers; and if available, a transformer specification and/or a technical description for currently manufactured transformers. Pricing must not be supplied as part of this Market Survey. Submissions and inquiries must be received electronically (Adobe Acrobat format preferred) not later than April 16, 2010, 4:00 pm local time by John.Varas@faa.gov. If unable to respond electronically, two hard copies of submittals must be received by the date indicated in this announcement at: Federal Aviation AdministrationJohn Varas, AJW-452, Room 412800 Independence Avenue, SWWashington, DC 20591 All interested parties are advised that the FAA will NOT pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received to this market survey. Therefore, any costs associated with and submissions from an interested party will be solely at the interested party's expense. Failure to respond to this request will not result in exclusion from any future competition. Any information provided under this market survey is for informational purposes only and will not be released to the public. Any proprietary information submitted must be adequately marked as proprietary and will be protected if appropriately marked.
