Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within a six (6) mile radius of Garden City, Georgia, City Hall building. Garden City is in close proximity of Savannah, Georgia area. The contract period shall consist of one 12-month base year and four 12-month option years for renewal at the unilateral discretion of the Government and all quantities are estimated for the Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services. The estimated services for the base year and each option year are as follows. (All session will equal 30 minutes in duration): Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 18. Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 2 inmates; Individual Counseling Sessions for 48 sessions x 18 inmates = 864 sessions; Group Counseling Sessions for 72 sessions x 18 inmates = 1,296 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions 12 sessions x 4 inmates = 48 sessions; Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 2 inmates; Medication Monitoring for 2 inmates; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 2 inmates; Mental Health Individual Counseling Sessions 48 sessions x 4 = 192 sessions; Option Year 1: Estimated number of inmates 19. Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 2 inmates; Individual Counseling Sessions for 48 sessions x 19 inmates = 912 sessions; Group Counseling Sessions for 72 sessions x 19 inmates = 1,368 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions 12 sessions x 4 inmates = 48 sessions; Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 2 inmates; Medication Monitoring for 3 inmates; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 3 inmates; Mental Health Individual Counseling Sessions 48 sessions x 5 = 240 sessions; Option Year 2: Estimated number of inmates 19. Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 3 inmates; Individual Counseling Sessions for 48 sessions x 20 inmates = 960 sessions; Group Counseling Sessions for 72 sessions x 20 inmates = 1,440 sessions; Family Counseling Sessions 12 sessions x 4 inmates = 48 sessions; Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 3 inmates; Medication Monitoring for 5 inmates; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 5 inmates; Mental Health Individual Counseling Sessions 48 sessions x 8 = 384 sessions; The services above shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated March 2009. The request for quotation will be available on or after February 19, 2010 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The website for registration is www.ccr.gov. The estimated closing date is on or about April 27, 2010. The solicitation is 100% set-a-side for small business. All responsible small business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract.
