Description
THIS NOTICEIS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATINAL PURPOSES ONLYU. LTHIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER THE ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES INDENFITE DELIVERY IDEFINITE QUANITY (IDIQ) CONTRACT NUBMERS IBM09D0010 WITH TRC, IBM09D0011 WITH MWH, AND IBEM09C0012 WITH E2M. RECOVERY - The United States Section, International Boundary and Water Commision (USIBWC) will be performing levee reconstruction work on levees located along the Rio Grande river near Sunland Park, New Mexico around the McNutt refinery superfund site to upstream of the Courchesne bridge. The construction will require heavy equipment movement, soil disruption, soil addition, and soil compaction, as well as construction of flood gates along irrigation chanel crossings in this area. This area lies near the ASARCO refining facility and may potentially contain lead and arsenic in the soils. The USIBWC has collected data in this area in the past and needs adiditonal data collectedin locations that were not collected and analyzed previously. The Contractor shall submit a sampling plan and Quaity Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for the collection and analysis of sample borings. Contractor shall utilize a laboratory that possesses NELAC accredation. Following receipt of laboratory analyses, the contractor shall develop a detailed report on the results of the soil sampling containing maps of actual boring locations, laboratory analysis, and concentration maps to provide to the USIBWC. GIS layers produced for the report shall be submitted electronically to the USIBWC. Project completion is approximately 60 calendar days from notice to proceed. THE RESLTING NEGOTIATED TASK ORDER WILL BE SYNOPSIZED AND ISSUED UNDER ONE OF THE SUCCESSFULLY COMPETED AND EXISTING FIRM FIXED-PRICE MULTIPLE AWARD IDIQ ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES CONTRACT REFERENCED ABOVE.
