Description
100% Set-Aside for Small Businesses The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to award a single source contract to Abbott Technologies, Sun Valley, CA to acquire the following Custom made Abbott ALSF-2 Power Supply Spares: 1.P/N NLD34Tx4,Quantity 20 each2.P/N ESA150/TX5/15/24-E,Quantity 20 each3.P/N ESA150QX1-5/12/24-E,Quantity 20 each The estimated value of the proposed contract is $101,354. The purpose of this survey is to determine if there are responsible sources other than the incumbent, Abbott Technologies, capable of supplying these supplies. These power supplies will be used as on-site spare parts with the FAA type FA-10700 ALSF-2 systems that have been previously procured and are currently in storage at the FAA Logistics Center in Oklahoma City or are stored on site at various locations throughout the NAS awaiting installation. These power supplies are custom made equipment that is not supplied as part of the FAA Type FA-10700 ALSF-2 from the original equipment manufacturer New Bedford Panoramex Corp (NBP). All interested sources must possess the capacity to produce power supplies that meet the form, fit and function of the current FAA Type FA-10700 ALSF-2 and must meet a delivery schedule of 60 days after contract award.All submissions received by the FAA will be treated as Proprietary Information unless otherwise requested by the individual submitter.This announcement is not a request for proposals. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not be liable for any costs associated with the preparation of responses to this announcement nor reimburse or otherwise pay any costs incurred by any party responding hereto. Submissions and inquiries must be received electronically not later than April 9, 2010, 4:00 pm local time by John.Varas@faa.gov.
