- The purpose of this amendment is to answer the following Vendor/Governmentquestions/answers:Vendor Question-1. Target Size: assuming 2.3m x 2.3m Government Answer-1. The 2.3m x 2.3m NATO target is acceptableVendor Question - 2. Target and background: Assuming 'paint' for the vehicle and selecting Army Camouflage for the target 'desert dirt road' for the background.Government Answer - 2. For the purposes of this effort the contractor may choose the contrast and/or clutter. This information should be explained within the results.Vendor Question 3. V50 parameters: currently using V50 = 2.025 for detection V50 = 8.1 for recognition V50 = 18.8 for ID (this is the one I am most concerned about) Government Answer 3. These values are acceptable. We normally use 19.9 for V50 ID but again for this effort any value can be used as long as it explained within the resultsVendor Answer 4. Atmosphere - currently setting the visibility to 10km, is this correct? Scene illumination - I am assuming overcast daylight?Government Answer 4. 10km visibility and overcast daylight are acceptable assumptions.All other terms and conditoins remain unchanged.
