- Contractor shall provide all labor, transportation, materials, apparatus, tools, equipment and permits necessary for the following work. The general limit of the specified work area will be located in the VAMC, 830 Chalkstone Ave., Providence, RI 02908. The work will entail the installation of a DI water system and its' preventive maintenance and 24-hour emergency service call response. This is a commercial requirement and will be a firm fixed price contract. The Providence VA Medical Center is looking for a contractor that will install a water purification system in the lab all in accordance with the requirement of the contract. The VA is soliciting a contract with a base 5/1/2010 - 4/30/2011 and two option years. The NAISC code for this is 221310 and the size standard is $7.0 million. This project is subject to the Service Contract Act. Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors include technical, past performance and price. The solicitation package will be available on or about March 29, 2010. The date for receipt of quotations is scheduled for April 16, 2010 at 9:00am. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessed for download on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely to this website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued.
