- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center- Fort Sam Houston have a requirement for conference facilities, and other services to be provided to the Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) Course to be held in Anchorage, Alaska. Dates of the Course: 12-17 Sep 10. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91TBH90291501 and is being requested as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 05-36. The procurement is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System Code 721110 Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels with a threshold of $7,000,000.00 The RFQ contains the following contract line item number (CLIN): 0001- Hotel Meeting Space - The contractor shall provide meeting spaces with a main classroom (a minimum of 2500 square feet) and 3 break out rooms with the capability to seat up to 25 students. The contracted services shall be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Unit of Issue 1 ea $ _________ Total $ ___________ Clauses: The following clauses/provisions apply to this acquisition and are hereby incorporated: Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.204-7, 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, 52.222-53 and 52.252.2. The following FAR clauses under 52.212-5 apply: 52.222-50, 52.233-3, 52.233-4, 52.203-6, 52.219-6, 52.219-28, 52.222-3, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-36, 52.222-53 and 52.232-33. Defense Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) 252.204-7004, 252.212-7000, 252.232-7003, and 252.232-7010. The following DFAR clauses apply under 252.212-7001: 52.203-3, 252.232-7003, 252.247-7023. The contract will be paid by Wide Area Work Flow. Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items (June 2008) Addendum to FAR 52.212-1 Offer shall submit: a) Technical proposal that demonstrates an ability to perform the services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. b) Price for CLIN 0001. Evaluation: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation based on the lowest price technically acceptable. In order to be technically acceptable the contractor must demonstrate the following: Technical Capabilities 1.Does the contractor meet the minimum 4 meeting rooms? 2.Is the main meeting room a minimum of 2500 square feet and able to accommodate at least 70 attendees? The room requires a capability to establish a wireless network using equipment provided by the course staff. 3.Does the contractors proposal include electrical outlets to support 70+ computers, three projectors, ad a six access point wireless network, one printer and a sound system operating simultaneously? 4. Does the contractors proposal provide hotel rooms with high speed internet access or available on the premises? 5.Does the contactors proposal provide a server operator room/storage room to store equipment boxes and to operate the computer server? The room includes AC to provide cooling for the servers, within 100 meters of main class room or capable of being networked to DSCA servers through patch panels provided by hotel. Also be able to store empty shipping containers (approximately 18 of all sizes). 6. Does the contractors proposal provide a hardwired connection with a static IP address in the room that hosts the computer server for use? 7. Does the contractors proposal provide the capability of blocking a minimum of 40 rooms? Offeror must also describe in a narrative their ability to encompass each technical capability.
