Description

RECOVERY – Yokahu Tower Renovation and Palo Colorado Picnic Area Trail Maintenance PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project consists of work at two recreation sites along Hwy. 191. Palo Colorado trail maintenance includes removing and replacing 390 square meters of concrete tread in the existing location, improving drainage structures by replacing existing culverts, installing new culverts, and cleaning existing drainage ways and structures.. The second portion of this project includes the renovation of the Yokahu Tower Restroom, replacing plumbing and toilet fixtures, and bringing the entire facility up to current accessibility standards. The bus shelter at Yokahu will be repaired by replacing the roof and repairing the concrete sidewalk and curb. PROJECT LOCATION: El Yunque National Forest near Rio Grande, Puerto Rico ESTIMATE COST RANGE: $250,000 to $500,000. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND DRAWINGS: The solicitation, AG-4419-S-10-0651 will be issued via FedBizOpps, as an Invitation for Bids and will be available for downloading on or about April 13, 2010 at the website address: http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award of a contract, http://www.ccr.gov/
