- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a modification to a sources sought synopsis that was previously published. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources (a solicitation is not currently available) and their size classification (hubzone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, small veteran owned business or service disabled veteran owned small business) relative to NACIS 621111 (size standard of $10.0 Million). The Veterans Affairs, Network 22 Logistics Office, is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Gastroenterology Services via private Gastroenterology Practice Centers. It is required that Contractors be able to meet a radius restriction of not more than 6 miles in distance from VA Santa Maria Outpatient Clinic, VA Greater Los Angeles Medical Center, and Los Angeles, CA (near Los Angeles International Airport LAX). The intended contract period will be for a base year and four, one year option periods, which is to begin on or about May 1, 2010. Response to this notice should include company name, address, point of contact, size of business pursuant to the following questions: (1) Is your business small (2) If small, does your firm qualify as a small, emerging business, or small disadvantaged business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your firm is certified under Section 8(a) of the Small Business Act? (4) Is your firm a certified 'Hubzone' firm? (5) Is your firm a woman-owned or operated business? (6) Is your firm a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, (7) Is your firm a Veteran Owned Small Business? Small businesses considering participation in this potential solicitation process under any Small Business Set-aside procedure must do so in a manner consistent with the requirements of the Small Business Act.
