Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This request is a one hundred percent set aside for small business concerns. The NAICS code is 722320 and the size standard is less than $7.0 million. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 05-38 Correction, Effective December 10, 2009. **NO KITCHEN IS AVAILABLE FOR USE. CONTRACTED VENDOR WILL HAVE TO COOK FOOD OFFSITE OR A MOBILE KITCHEN IS NEEDED.** Offerors shall propose a firm fixed price per meal for all catered meals listed on the attached spreadsheet titled Catered Meals. See attachment for description of requested meals. Location: CEATS Cram Dining Facility, Jericho, Vermont Dates: 5-10 April, 2010 Feeding Times: Breakfast at 0600 and Dinner at 1700 Quantity: 250 persons per meal Contracted vendor must provide all serving utensils, eating utensils, servers, paper products. Contracted vendor must be ready to serve at specified serving times. The provisions at 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items apply. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price and Technical Capability. If products from offerors are found to be technically equivalent, price will be the determining factor.
