- Description
- The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Office of Job Corps(OJC), is seeking small business firms that qualify under the Small Business Programs mentioned in the Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 19, to assist the National Office of Job Corps (National Office) in: a. Fulfilling its planning and oversight responsibilities to Job Corps Health and Wellness Program; b. Developing, articulating and demonstrating a prevention philosophy and case management approach in working with students; and, c.Providing education/training opportunities to the Centers' Staff Members. Contractor shall provide all labor, services, equipment, facilities, materials and supplies to perform in accordance with the Statement of Work and the Terms and Conditions of the requirement. In addition, Contractor shall be accountable for compliancy with all Federal, State and local laws and regulations, and agency implementing policies, procedures and directives. DOL anticipates making only one (1) award for this requirement. The anticipated outcome of the work to be performed shall increase Job Corps' students employability and maintain their optimal health level, along with prevention of accidents and injuries by providing an organized, well-managed, cost-efficient and effective health services and wellness program. The period of performance for anticipated award will be twelve (12) months from the date of contract execution, plus four one-year options to be exercised at the discretion of the Government. A Time and Materials type contract is contemplated for the above requirements. Competition is 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541611- Administrative, Management and General Management Consulting Services. The Business Size Standard is $7 million. The solicitation for this requirement will be available on March 31, 2010. Request for Proposals (RFPs) will be available through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at http://www.fbo.gov, approximately 15 days from the date of this Presolicitation initial publication. The FBO website provides downloading instructions. Request for Proposals in hard copy form will not be available. Telephone requests will not be honored. Closing date for receipt of Request for Proposals will be May 1, 2010, at 2:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
