- NSN: 1010-01-151-6227; Part Number 5830128. The item to procure is a MECHANISM ASSEMBLY, ELEVATING used on MK64 40MM MG MT. Approximate Size: 8 inches high x 4 inches wide. Material: steel forgings and investment castings. Manufacture of several gages required. Requirements are a Minimum Guaranteed Quantity of 2,000 ea. and a Maximum Contract Quantity of 25,000 ea., MECHANISM ASSEMBLY, ELEVATING. This will be a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. FOB is Destination. C/O: RING, CLICK, TRAV. MECH, Part Number 5174123; YOKE, UPPER, ELEV. SCREW, Part Number 6166497; HANDWHEEL, ELEVATING, Part Number 6108211; LEVER ASSY, TRAV. SLIDE LOCK, Part Number 5194313; SCREW, ELEVATING, ASSY., Part Number 5591828. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies and services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capacity to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Proposed contract is a 100% Hubzone set-aside. Estimated issue date is 16 April 2010. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list.
