- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT, NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. A SOLICIATATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. The National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center, Materials Management Departments (MMD) intends to award on a sole source basis, under the authority of 41 United States Code (U.S.C.) 253(c)(1) as set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 a contract to Performance Water Systems,, 29519 Canvasback Drive, Easton, MD 21601 the purchase and installation of the MRO301 unit, Self Sustaining Direct Feed Water System. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333319 and the Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; The subject requirement is affiliated with services initiated by The Office of Research Services (ORS). One of the responsibilities of ORS is to provide safety, security and emergency response, to enrich and enhance the NIH worksite. The proposed changes and vendor selection have been reviewed and approved by ORS. Based on the approval and the timeline granted, this will be awarded as a sole source procurement. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability in writing to Stacey Polk, spolk@cc.nih.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. There is no solicitation package available.
