Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to issue a contract for tour operators (i.e, arranging and assembling tours) FOB Destination, to BIE, Pueblo Pintado Community School, Cuba, New Mexico. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. RMN00100069 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and will be procured under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-38. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NAICS Code: 561520, Small Business Size Standard: $7 Million. Pueblo Pintado Community School will be needing assistance in scheduling a tour of Washington, DC for 22 Students and 6 Chaperones. Price shall include the following: Air Fare (round trip) from Albuquerque, NM to Washington, DC and return (early Departure from Albuquerque on April 23rd and returning, late arrival to Albuquerque on April 25th); Meals starting from Friday, April 23, 2010 and ending Sunday, April 25, 2010; Rooms for 2 nights with Night Security; Tour Guide; Paid Admission to various Museums and Monuments; and transportation for the duration of the trip. Nine (9) Rooms total as follows: Room 1 & 2 to hold 1 Adult and 6 Students (Connecting rooms); Room 3 & 4 to hold 1 Adult and 6 Students (Connecting rooms); Room 5 & 6 to hold 1 Adult and 4 Students (Connecting rooms); Room 7 to hold 1 Adult and 2 Students; Room 8 to hold 1 Adult and 2 Students; and Room 9 to hold 1 Adult and 2 Students QUOTE should include: A complete breakdown of total cost with detailed information on the entire tour and a complete detailed itinerary of the various Museums and Monuments. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror, whose quote conforming to the requirements herein, will be most advantageous to the Government, and is fair and reasonable. CONTRACT CLAUSES: The following clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items; 52.232-1, Payment; 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003); 52.232-36, Payment by Third Party (May 1999);52.229-3, Federal, State, and Local Taxes (April 2003); and 52.232-18, Availability of Funds (April 1984).
