THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): TEXAS GAS SERVICE RECOVERY STIMULUS PROJECT #23094 PROJECT NAME: Haan Road Widening, Fort Bliss Tx TAS::21 2022::TAS THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE SPECIFIC CONTRACTOR IDENTIFIED BELOW AS THE CONTRACTOR IS THE OWNER OF THE UTILITY LINES AT FORT BLISS SINCE THE UTILITIES ARE PRIVATIZED UNDER CONTRACT NUMBER: SP0600-0. This project is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funded project. The Mission & Installation Contracting Command, Directorate of Contracting, Fort Bliss, Texas intends to issue a modification to Texas Gas Service 1301 S. Mopac, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78746-6918, pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.243-4 CHANGES clause. This modification is for a firm fixed price effort to install new gas service line to Haan Road on Fort Bliss, Texas. All work performed for this project will be located on the Fort Bliss Military Reservation, El Paso County, Texas. The Government anticipates a performance period of 22 days after date of notice to proceed. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 36.204, the magnitude of this project is expected to be less than $100,000. The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) code is 221210 Natural Gas Distribution. The request for proposed modification will be issued directly to the contractor identified above. The request for proposal will not be issued through, or posted on, the Federal Business Opportunities web page as this is not a competitive procurement. The purpose of this special notice is only to inform industry of the intent of Directorate of Contracting at Fort Bliss, Texas as required for all Recovery Act Projects. This is in accordance with the guidance provided by President of the United States and the Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board.
