Description
The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD), Panama City, Florida has a requirement for the rebuild of 150 Primary Air Supply Packs (PASPS) Control Panels on the Supplied Air Respirator (SAR) System. The successful offeror shall rebuild the (PASP) control panel assembly and components in accordance with OEM instructions. The Government will provide all rebuild kits. The successful offeror shall also completely disassemble the panel assemblies, clean all components (cleaned to MIL-STD-1622 critical application or MIL-STD-1330), comparison check gauges, hydrostatic test hoses and tag in accordance with drawing 6314756 (this drawing is only to provide test pressures) and reassemble into a new PASP panel P/N 6314764. Documentation shall include a summery report for each of the 150 PASP control panel assemblies, this shall include an itemized list of the work done on the panel and shall reference old and new PASP control panel assembly serial numbers. Once a PASP control panel is delivered to the contractor, the rebuild shall be accomplished within 45 days and returned to NSWCPCD, for reissue to the fleet, as a result partial deliveries of the 150 rebuilt panels are acceptable. It is estimated that panels will be delivered to the contractor starting 5 days after award of purchase order, at the approximate rate of 8 to 18 per month. The places of performance for this Task will be the contractor's facilities within 30 miles of NSWCPCD. The contractor must be local due to witness of testing, speed & cost of Government furnished material and deliverables, and the availability of Navy expertise if required. This procurement is limited to small business concerns only. NSWCPCD plans on releasing the request for quote (RFQ) electronically only. The RFQ and any Amendments may be downloaded from the following web sites: 1) Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO), and 2) Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS). Delivery of equipment will be shipped to the Naval Support Activity-Panama City, 101 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, FL 32407-7018. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. NAICS 333912 applies. SBA size standard is 500 employees. FSC is 4220. A request for quote will be issued on or about 13 April 2010.
