Description
Contract Administration Data SAP Clauses Description/Specifications/Statement of Work Deliveries or Performance Concord Location Map (showing overview of plantation plots) Inspection and Acceptance Special Contract Requirements Pacific Southwest Research Station has a requirement to complete a fuels reduction project at Concord Naval Weapons Station, Concord CA., to include cutting, vegetation control, and thinning in Eucalyptus and Pine plantation plots. This requirement and subsequent award is issued as a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation IAW FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Contractor shall provide all manpower, tools, equipment, and labor to perform and complete all tasks in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. The project consists of nine separate plantation plots, and contractor is requested to provide their quote on a per acre basis for each individual plot. Contractor will complete each plot in sequence, prior to moving to the next task. IAW FAR 52.204-6, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) Number, FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and FAR 52.232-33, Mandatory information for Electronic Funds transfer Payment, domestic contractors must be registered in CCR to receive a Federal contract/award. We require that contractors provide their Federal Tax-ID and DUNS number when submitting a quote on this solicitation. EVALUATION CRITERIA: Due to the impact of the Fuels Reduction project on environmental and safety concerns, PSW requires contractors provide demonstrable evidence of their ability and experience in completing like or similar projects. To this end, we require references be provided with submission of quotes. In addition, please provide a synopsis of your proposal to include manpower, hand tools, and mobile equipment to be used on the project. SITE VISIT: A site Visit is scheduled for 9 AM, Wednesday 14 April, 2010 and 9 AM Thursday 15 April 2010, at the Concord Naval Weapons Station. To reach the U.S. Naval Weapons Station, Concord, travel north or south on Highway 680 to the junction of Highway 4. Travel east on Highway 4 for approximately 3 miles, take the Port Chicago Highway exit, travel north on Port Chicago Highway for approximately 2 miles. The Naval Weapons Station, Concord entrance is located on the right. 52.237-1 Site Visit. As prescribed in 37.110(a), insert the following provision: SITE VISIT (APR 1984) Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
