- SOW Dated 31 March 2010. FA2550-10-R-1001-0001 DRMO Amendment/Modification The purpose of the amendment is to add changes to the solicitation. Option 0002 has been added to the solicitation, to include DRMO dispose of old engine generator units and associated equipment: Option 2 - Dispose of Generators through DRMO Contractor shall develop Engine Generator Units Removal, Salvage and Disposal Plan (GRSD Plan) NLT 21 days after NTP for approval by the Government. GRSD Plan must be approved by both SAFB and Fort Carson Defense Reutilization Management Office (DRMO). The GRSD shall include a routing plan section showing exact route taken by the driver and accounting for bridges and other road structures having weight and other legal and physical restrictions. GRSD Plan shall consist of the following: (1) Remove salvageable items (Sheet ED1.1, Note 4) and turn these items over to the Government. (2) Remove three existing generators, silencers, piping, combustion air ducts, equipment pads, and miscellaneous electrical and mechanical equipment from Building 600 and relocate in disposal staging area at SAFB. Area to be specified by the Government. (3) All items noted in (2) previously taken to the disposal staging area shall be subdivided into shipping lots of not more than 35,000 lbs per lot for shipment to Fort Carson DRMO. Contractor shall have approval in writing from Fort Carson DRMO and obtain any necessary road permits prior to shipping any lots to Fort Carson DRMO. DOT weight limit is 80,000 lbs including vehicle over most public roads, contractor shall not exceed this limit. (4) All items placed in disposal staging area shall be turned into Fort Carson DRMO not later than 90 days after removal from B600 and initial placement into Disposal Staging Area. (5) All generators and other materials shall be packaged and transported according to all standard industry, local, state and federal standards. (7) GRSD shall integrate seamlessly with all other schedules, plans and operations such as the PWS. (8) Contractor shall comply with requirements of DoD 4160.21-M, "Defense Materiel Disposition Manual", August 18, 1997 and AFI32-9004 Disposal of Real Property.
