A loss of 8 channels would double the loss of channelcount.Question 2: Does the strain gage circuits have to be programmable or can they bereplaceable modules?Answer 2: The system has to be programmable.Question 3: Does the system handle up to 10V excitation or does it have to be 12V?Answer 3: The excitation voltage shall be programmable from 1 volt to 12 volts in 1 voltincrements.Question 4: Will there be an opportunity to demonstrate our capability in person beforecontract award?Answer 4: NASA does not need a demonstration before award; however all items asidentified in the statement of work must be met.Question 5: Could you please clarify whether spec 2.1.3.1 applies and if analog and/ordigital outputs are required.Answer 5: Yes spec 2.1.3.1 applies. The system is required to have an analog to digitalsignal interface for all the necessary programming features and a digital to analogoutput for signal processing. The due date for receipt of offers is extended to April 7, 2010.Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASAAcquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on March 10, 2010.
