- Description
- The project consists of providing all supervision, labor, equipment and materials necessary to perform emergency temporary roof repair construction services in support of disaster emergency missions assigned to USACE by FEMA for areas throughout Virgin Islands. This will be a Single Award, Task Order type contract and will service the USACE/FEMA mission requirements scheduled for 2010 through 2015. Mobilization to disaster area and commencement of construction will be required to take place 4 days after receipt of task orders and may cover multiple geographic locations. Plastic sheeting will be furnished by the Government for installation by the contractor. The Base consists of providing emergency temporary roof repair construction services for areas throughout Virgin Islands for a one year ordering period. Options 1 though 4 consist of providing emergency temporary roof repair construction services for areas throughout Virgin Islands for an additional 4 one year ordering periods. Proposal Requirements: Award will be made to the Offeror whose proposal represents the best value to the Government. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical merit, past performance, small business utilization and price. Magnitude of construction is between $10,000,000.00 and $25,000,000.00. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED ACQUISITION. ALL RESPONSIBLE OFFERORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PARTICIPATE. There will be a price preference for certified HUBZone small business concerns that comply with the requirements in the solicitation as stipulated in FAR 19.1307. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 April 2010 with bids due on or about 18 May 2010. The solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/.
