- The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with RC Veterans (SDVOSB). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued; a separate written solicitation will NOT be issued. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. The North American IndustryClassification System Code (NAICS) is 561720. The VA West Los Angeles Healthcare System intends to procure the services of RC Veterans to power wash interior cat walk in BLDG 500 from floors 2 through 6. Catwalks are to be steamed or power washed as needed using an approved germicidal solution for the purpose of cleaning bird droppings and debris. Cleaning to be done 5 times per quarter. Period of performance 4-1-2010 through 9-30-2010. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The closing date for this action is 3:00 PM Pacific Standard Time, 4-6-2010. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document other than this exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
