Description

THIS IS AN AMENDMENT TO THE PRESOLICITATION SYNOPSIS POSTED 0N 01/19/2010 AND AMENDED ON 02/24/2010 FOR SOLICITATION 10ERSS0040, CONSTRUCT SEGMENT D ADDITION AND PROVIDE FIRE SUPPRESSION IN SEGMENT D AT UPPER MIDWEST ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES CENTER, LA CROSSE, WI (CO0002A and DM0005B). The Department of the Interior, U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for CONSTRUCT SEGMENT D ADDITION AND PROVIDE FIRE SUPPRESSION IN SEGMENT D AT UPPER MIDWEST ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES CENTER, LA CROSSE, WI. The Government anticipates award of a non-commercial, firm fixed price contract. The anticipated period of performance is 07/15/2010 through 07/14/2011. The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 04/16/2010. The associated solicitation number is 10ERSS0040. The offeror is responsible for monitoring the Fedbizopps site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). A formal solicitation, statement of work, and technical exhibits are not available for release at this time. This requirement is being issued as full and open competition. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. There is not an incumbent contractor. Full or partial funding for requirements to be completed by the resultant contract may utilize funds provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Inclusion of unique provisions required to implement the Act, including those for significant reporting and transparency requirements by the successful offeror(s), will be required in any resultant contract.
