- JandA The Garrison Chaplain has a responsibility to ensure that a professionally trained and ready Chaplaincy provides religious, spiritual, moral and ethical advice and services to the Fort Jackson Basic Training Mission, tenant organizations, and members of the military community. In an effort to support the Garrison Chaplain's mission, the Government intends to extend the period of performance on the following Chaplain Service contracts: W9124C-07-C-0007 Protestant Musician, W9124C-07-P-0013 Command Master Musician, W9124C-07-C-0003 Catholic Musician, W9124C-07-P-0015 Musician, W9124C-07-P-0016 Musician, W9124C-07-P-0017 Catholic Education Coordinator, W9124C-07-P-0018 Rabbi, and W9124C-07-C-0009 Musician. The period of performance will be extended for a total of six months (01 April 2010 through 30 September 2010). The extensions will allow adequate time to process the follow-on contracts for these requirements. There are currently nine (9) Chapels on Fort Jackson Army Base that hold weekly religious and spiritual sermons that require the services listed above. Extending the existing Chaplain Service Contracts will aid in the support of accomplishing the mission of providing a seamless Chaplaincy system.
