THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. THERE WILL NOT BE A SOLICITATION, SPECIFICATIONS, OR DRAWINGS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIMEThe Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Mid-Atlantic is seeking eligible Service Disabled Veteran Owned firms capable of performing Design/Bid/Build services under a General Construction Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC). The work will include construction, alteration, renovation and repairs to Government facilities by means of an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) MACC for various facilities located throughout Hampton Roads; Richmond, VA; Roanoke, VA; Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; and Greensboro, NC. The goal is to make a contract award to approximately five SDVOSB general contractors. The performance period for each contract will include one twelve month base period and four (4) twelve-month option years for a total of 60 months. Total cumulative cost (with option periods) is not to exceed 40 Million. The minimum guarantee is $10,000. Per contract over the full term of the contract to include option years. Typical projects will have an estimated construction cost between $ 10,000. up to $500,000. Work performed under the MACC will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 236220. THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This synopsis is a market research tool being used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential SDVOSB sources. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from the potential sources as a result of this synopsis. It is requested that interested SDVOSB submit to the contracting officer a brief capabilities statement package to include 2 or 3 completed projects (no more than 10 pages in length, single spaced, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services. The documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: (1) Relevant Experience to include experience in performing construction, alteration, renovation and repair efforts with a value between $50,000. and $1,000,000. within the last five (5) years including contract number, indication of whether your firm acted as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, Government/Agency point of contact and current telephone number, and a brief description of how the contract relates to the technical services described herein.(2) Company Profile to include number of employees, office location(s), available bonding capacity per contract, DUNS number, CAGE Code, and statement regarding small business designation and status.
