- Description
- DMSMS Draft PWS Industry Day Participation Request This Request for Information (RFI) is issued to assist the Government in identifying potential sources capable of providing support for the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortage (DMSMS) requirement. This information will be used for Market Research purposes only and does not in itself represent the issuing of a formal request for proposal and is not intended to be taken as such. This RFI will be used to improve the understanding of Government's requirements and industry capabilities, thereby allowing potential sources the opportunity to judge whether or not they can meet the requirement and if so, how they can satisfy the Government's requirements. Potential sources must have in place a Predictive Tool with the ability to meet the requirements identified in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) and all its attachments. It should be known that the Government does not intend to provide any Government Furnished Material nor fund any development of a Predictive Tool i.e. software or equipment etc. Potential sources are highly encouraged to review the PWS and its attachment in full to understand what the Predictive Tool capabilities requirements are. In an effort to assist the Government with the understanding of your capabilities, potential sources can participate in the upcoming industry day. Sources should provide documentation of their Predictive Tool capabilities and other supporting material that they have to assist the requiring activity in understanding their Predictive Tool capabilities no later than 16 Apr 10. If you desire to participate in the industry day, complete the attached industry day participation document and submit it with your documentation of your Predicative Tool capabilities. Due to scheduling requirements, only those sources that submit the completed industry day participation document will be allowed to participate in the industry day. NOTE: Industry date(s) have yet to be determined.
