- REGISTRATION FOR 12 PARTICIPANTS TO ATTEND iTHINK 2-DAY TRANING. 28-29 APRIL & 26-27 MAY 2010, IN SPRINGFIELD, VA. TRAINING ON THE USE OF THE iTHINK COMPUTER SIMULATION SOFTWARE. TRAINING WORKSHOP SERIES ON DYNAMIC MODELING FOR DATES TO BE DETERMINED. THE SERIES WILL CONSIST OF A TWO-DAY INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP TO BE FOLLOWED UP AT A LATER DATE WITH A TWO-DAY INTERMEDIATE SKILLS WORKSHOP. CALIBRE WILL HOST THESE WORKSHOPS AT THEIR SPRINGFIELD, VA OFFICES. COST INCLUDES: ~30 DAY WORKSHOP LICENSE FOR THE iTHINK SOFTWARE ~SAMPLE SIMULATION MODELS ~ELECTRONIC COPIES OF PRESENTATION MATERIALS ~ON SITE COMPUTERS PROVIDED. ******************************************** DESCRIPTION: The U.S. Coast Guard intends to procure DYNAMIC MODELING WORKSHOP FROM CALIBRE, 6354 WALKER LANE, ALEXANDRIA, VA 22310, (703)797-8500. Note 22. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on a sole source basis to CARSON ASSOCIATES INC., 35 HOMER ST, SUITE 120. WARRENTON, VA 20186. under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
