- HSCG23-10-R-ADA001 was utilized to request information on 29 DEC 2009 and to synopsize the government's intent to issue a solicitation for Production and Delivery of HC-144A Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) on 05 MAR 2010. The pre-solicitation notice is reissued here under HSCG23-10-R-2DA020 in order to facilitate release of the RFP. HSCG23-10-R-2DA020 shall be used to obtain the HC-144A Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) RFP and any future amendments to the RFP. Questions regarding this pre-solicitation notice shall be directed to Orie T. Davis at 202-475-3425. The original pre-solicitation notice read as follows: A Request for Proposal (RFP) will be issued on a "Brand Name" basis for Other than Full and Open Competition for the procurement of Nine (9) European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS)/Construcciones Aeronauticas Sociedad Aónima (CASA) CN235-300M CG-01 Configuration Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA), Part Number 35-00045-0001 as described by EADS CASA Technical Specification T.S.03.3.05 dated 26 July 2005. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be made available electronically at www.fbo.gov. In accordance with FAR 52.216-1 the Government contemplates a Firm-Fixed Price type contract with a base period and four option periods. The final contract award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror, with acceptable past performance and determined responsible by the Contracting Officer in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 9.1. The anticipated contract award date is 29 July 2010. Award can be made only to an offeror that is registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR). CCR information is available at www.ccr.gov.
