Description
This is an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) Procurement. The U.S. Forest Service, EROC-NW servicing Region 6 has a requirement to provide restoration work on approximately 34,600 LF of Table Springs/Bear Creek Trail. Work consists of existing trail restoration, brushing, logging out, slough and berm removal, root and rock removal, stump and snag removal. Restoration also includes climbing turns, rock wall, stream crossing and drainage structures. Blasting is necessary for this project. A negotiated, firm, fixed-price contract is contemplated requiring submission of a price proposal and completion of a "Questionnaire". The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. The performance period requires the project to be completed by September 30, 2011. This procurement is unrestricted (open to all offerors) under FAR Subpart 19.10 - The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program Act of 1988. Contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and the On-line Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). The solicitation with specifications, drawings and wage rates is expected to be posted to the https://www.fbo.gov/ website within the next 45 days. No hard copies of the solicitation and applicable amendments will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package (Request for Proposal) and any applicable amendments, offerors must download them from the aforementioned website. Due to the late snow pack limiting access to this trail, the solicitation period is extended 30 additional days - now due at 1500 hours, May 10, 2010.
