- Description
- THIS PROCUREMENT IS ADVERTISED AS AN 8(a) COMPETITIVE SET-ASIDE. It has been determined that competition will be limited to 8(a) firms located within the geographical area serviced by the Fresno, Sacramento, and San Francisco SBA District Offices and other 8(a) firms with a bona fide place of business within the geographical competitive area, and the designated NAICS code. PROJECT DETAILS: The CA BLM 19006(1), Panoche Access Road & Trailhead project consists of regraveling 7.7 miles of roadways and drainage improvements. The project is located near Mercy Hot Springs, approximately 70 miles east of Fresno. Principal work items include: 23,000 tons of aggregate surface course, 900 feet of steel pipe fence, and 100 feet of pipe culvert. The CA BLM 5403(1), South Cow Mountain Recreation Area project consists of asphalt surface treatment, placement of aggregate base, and drainage improvements on 1.95 miles of roadway on Mendo Lake Road in South Cow Mountain recreation Area near Lakeport. Principal work items include: 5,100 tons of aggregate base, 300 tons of asphalt pavement, 15,000 square yards of surface treatment designation 2B (chipseal), 14,000 square yards of earthwork geotextile type III-A, 160 feet of pipe culvert, and 4 end sections. The CA BLM 19041(1) & 19043(1), Fort Ord project consists of drainage improvements and regraveling of up to 5.6 miles of roadway at Ford Ord in Monterey. Principal work items include: removal of an existing bridge, 1,900 yards of roadway excavation, 12,000 tons of aggregate base, 65 cubic yards of minor concrete, 320 cubic yards of placed riprap, 1,300 feet of pipe culvert, 39 pipe end sections, and 4 end sections.. Tentative advertisement date is April 8, 2010. Bids will be due 30 days aftre advertisement. This project is a one season job. Estimate cost for the base Schedule and all Options is $1.0 to 4.0 million.
