Description
RECOVERY - PER FAR 5.7 THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY; THEREFORE FAR 5.203 DOES NOT APPLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY WAS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTOR(S) UNDER THE CURRENT CONTRACT NUMBER(S): W912DQ08D0036 The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District (USACE - Portland) intends to issue Task Order DT09 under Contract W912DQ08D0036 for The Dallesport Columbia River Treaty Fishing Access Site Value Engineering Study. The Contractor will provide a facilitator/value engineering (VE) leader to conduct a VE study in accordance with ER 11-1-321, Value Engineering. The facilitator shall be an individual currently holding an active Certified Value Specialist certification. It is preferred that they be a licensed professional within their discipline (architect, engineer, etc.). The Contractor shall provide the facilitator, and a combination of four professionals from the following: up to three Civil Engineers (experience in roadways, environmental cl ean-up, grading/drainage, sanitary systems, soils, rock excavation, boat ramps/docks), Geotechnical Engineer and/or Cost Constructability Specialist. USACE - Portland VE officer shall attend as a team member. In the event other members of the VE team are requested by USACE - Portland and provided by the Contractor, they shall be independent of the product delivery team (PDT) should the contractor also be providing those services. Team members ought to be experienced in preparation and/or review of the Design-Build Request for Proposal (RFP).
