- U.S. GOVERNMENT SEEKS TO LEASE APPROXIMATELY 5,758 SQUARE FEET OF OFFICE/LABORATORIES/GARAGE/SHOP/RELATED INFDOOR SPACE, TOGETHER WITH APPROXIMATELY 16,000 SQUARE FEET FOR SECURED PARKING/OUTDOOR STORAGE/WAREYARD SPACE IN DIXON, CA REQUIREMENT: The United States Government is interested in leasing approximately 5,758 square feet of Office, Laboratories, Garage, Shop and related indoor space together with 16,000 square feet of secured parking/outdoor storage/wareyard space in the Town of Dixon. All parts of the facility, including office, parking, storage, shop, and locker must be co-located on the same site. The delineated area, within the town of Dixon, CA shall be defined by Putah Creek to the North, Midway Road to the South, Rt. 105 to the West and Solano County Line to the East. The facility must be a secure site that will accommodate standard office hours, as well as wildlife/fisheries related laboratory work. Normal hours will be 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, but 24-hour access to the facility by field researchers is regularly required. The anticipated term is 10 years, 5 years firm as a fully serviced lease. The estimated occupancy date is January 15, 2011. The building must be located in a professional surrounding and/or tasteful rehabilitation in current use. Streets and public sidewalks must be well maintained. The Government requires sufficient parking for privately owned vehicles and visitor parking. Buildings offered for consideration must be of sound and substantial construction of the type generally recognized as contemporary with the ability to demonstrate meeting all current Federal/GSA/PBS, State, and local codes and regulations including but not limited to fire and life safety, accessibility, OSHA, and seismic protection. Building must be free of asbestos, meet current fire/life codes, ADA compliant or, if not, landlord must be willing to make the building fully ADA compliant based on 2006 ADA regulations. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Expressions of interest must be submitted in writing and should include the following information at minimum: •· Building name/address •· Location of space in the building and date it will be available •· Drawing of space offered •· Rentable Square Feet (RSF) offered •· Common Area Factor used to determine the RSF •· Name, address, telephone number, and email address of authorized contact AUTHORIZED CONTACTS: GSA is using a tenant broker to represent the Government in lease negotiations for this transaction.
