- NASA/DFRC has a requirement for Various Aircraft Parts.6 each P/N 7553848 Filter1 each P/N F52828-106 Manometer Assembly2 each P/N TE65B17158 Vent Plug, Wing Tip2 each P/N 3MIT65B40500-1 Adapter AssemblyThe Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and 13.Interested organizations may submit their quotes to perform the effort in writing to theidentified point of contact not later than 4:00 p.m. local time on April 12, 2010. Thisnotice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordancewith the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information includedin this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as aRequest for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation willnot be issued. Offerors are required to use the On-Line RFQ system to submit their quote.The On-line RFQ system may be accessed athttp://prod.nais.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/eps/bizops.cgi?gr=C&pin=. The information requiredby FAR Subpart 12.6 is included in the on-line RFQ. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are NOT acceptable in response to this notice. Please submit allinquiries via email to the address listed.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
