Description
The United States Army, CECOM-Contracting Center (CCC), intends to award up to 2 five (5) year, Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract(s) for the Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance System (LRAS) MD. This acquisition is 100% small business set-aside, Best Value source selection. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334511, size standard is 750, and the Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 5855. The LRAS3 MD must meet all the Required Capabilities set forth in the Product Description and as tested in the Evaluation Unit Test Plan and Performance Work Statement (PWS) in the Request for Proposal (RFP). The LRAS3 MD shall be handheld; battery powered, and ruggedized display used for viewing LRAS3 imagery. It must be capable of displaying both the widescreen (16:9) LRAS3 FLIR Video without any distortion as well as the LRAS3 day camera imagery with 4:3 aspect ratio. It shall provide the resolution and clarity necessary to read all symbology and text within the LRAS3 video imagery, and suffer no negative effects from burn in of the LRAS3 reticule or symbology. The LRAS3 MD must be able to run for over 6 hours with a single set of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) batteries. The LRAS3 MD, when added to the currently fielded LRAS3 will provide the ability for vehicle commanders located within a vehicle to view or corroborate visual displays. This LRAS3 MD can be utilized both in the dismounted and mounted modes. The period of performance will be five (5) years. The guaranteed minimum quantity is 100 Units per Offeror(s). The maximum quantity to be awarded under the IDIQ will be 3,583 units. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes only and is not to be considered a request for proposal; any response must be to Solicitation Number W909MY-10-R-Z154.
