Description
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has a requirement for a fixed price construction contract for the installation of new power receptacles at the William J Hughes Technical Center, Atlantic City, NJ. Contractor shall provide and install all associated wiring and equipment for this construction. All parts and use of equipment is to be performed by the Electrical Contractor. A Government furnished man-lift will be available for use for overhead work. Contractor shall provide the complete operating system as follows: CONCEPTIONAL DIRECTION •Contractor shall install a new “Cutler Hammer” #FD3200l 200A-3phase circuit breaker in MDP panel. Use existing 225A space. Install cover plate to match breaker opening. •Contractor shall install a new 2” EMT conduit with four #3/0 THHN and one #4 ground wires, to a new 150KVA 480 – 120/208V, 3 phase transformer. Locate in existing Telephone room. •Contractor shall install a new 4” EMT conduit and four #500KCML – THHN and one #2 THHN wires to a new 400A Main circuit breaker - 3 phase panel. Conduit to be run above classroom and secured to the side walls in the Hangar area. Mount at standard panel height. This requirement is set-aside for Small Businesses in accordance with NAICS code 238210. Contractor shall provide all labor and construction equipment necessary for this project. Contractor will be responsible for all removal and disposal of debris I/A/W/ local, state and federal regulations. The total estimated value for this project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Construction shall commence 5 calendar days from the notice to proceed with completion 60 days thereafter. A site visit will be held on April 14, 2010, 10:00 AM, EST with all parties meeting at the Security Operations Center Main Gate. Security issues require companies to identify personnel whom will be attending the site visit.
