- Description
- This is an amendment to a previously synopsized requirement. This amendment is necessary to change competition from a HUBZone set-aside to Full and Open. The HUBZone set-aside was erroneously included in the original pre-solicitation announcement. Also, the contractor is no longer responsible for purchasing and supplying the paving material. The Government will purchase and supply the paving material for this project. The magnitude of construction for this project is changed from "$250,000 to $500,000" to "$25,000 to $100,000." RECOVERY - THIS IS A PROJECT UNDER THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT. This project is for a contractor to resurface the Spruce Mill Trail within Fort Vancouver National Historic Site in accordance with the solicitation project specifications. The Spruce mill trail is approximately 10 feet wide by 2,300 feet long, and includes the following: minor blading, shaping, leveling, and compaction of existing gravel subgrade; in addition to placing, and compacting construction grade aggregates and paving resin mix surfacing course; and applying a compatible fog seal. The paving resin mix will be purchased and supplied by the Government. The NAICS code is 237310. The small business size standard is $33,500,000. The estimated price range for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is being solicited and awarded in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, Public law 100-656, and is open to both large and small business concerns. The solicitation with specifications, site photo, and wage rates will be posted to the websites http:///www.fbo.gov and http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about April 6, 2010 with a response date 30 days thereafter. A site visit will be held at the time and place specified in the solicitation (Section L). A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. To receive the solicitation package, you must download it from http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No hardcopies will be mailed or faxed. Any questions must be in writing and emailed to Phaedra_Fuller@NPS.gov or faxed to 360-565-3018. Interested parties are urged to check for amendments. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation. This Announcement does not constitute the solicitation.
