- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Hampton Virginia, VA Diagnostic Services requires support to perform On-Call CT examinations. These examinations are performed with and without the use of contrast materials. The purpose of these exams is to achieve diagnostic studies to assist in the proper diagnosis and treatment. Services will be needed for a 7-day week, 13 alternating weeks beginning date of award through September 30, 2010. The on-call hours will be Monday 7:00 pm through Monday 7:00 am. The unscheduled on-call hours will be on an as needed basis, Monday through Friday 4:30pm to 7:00pm. The contract technologist will be required to work any Federal holidays when it falls within their week of call. The contractor will be required to submit a contingency plan for back-up CT coverage. It is required that the contractor utilize a primary CT tech, a secondary CT tech, and a minimum of one alternate CT tech to support the contract requirements. This requirement is unrestricted. The NAICS code is 561320. Size standard is $13.5M. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 Solicitation packages will be available on or about April 7, 2010. Quotes will be due on or about April 16, 2010.
